Case Study
Members Luggage
January 2008
We were asked by our client to produce an original stand for the purpose of displaying luggage cases and bags. As the client was re-branding and needed a look that reflected the high quality of their products we were given a blank canvass to work from (no, not cheque book). We decided on a clean crisp look that would not detract from the product, and with this in mind chose a high gloss white laminate finish, even down to the floor covering.
The airport theme was chosen to attract instant attention and reflect on the product usage. The rear wall was made up of individual illuminated “boxes” in which various sized luggage would be placed. The central feature was based around a rotating airport carousel along with a full graphic backdrop showing a person coming through the arrivals hall. To provide more display area, we used the graphic backdrop for mounting glass shelves to (with concealed fixings) for holding briefcases and small bags then placed PinWall® display hooks and further graphics on the side wall. To compliment the look we had a bespoke “bell cart” manufactured, also for use as a product display area.
All told, we turned the project around within 4 weeks, from initial concept to delivery and installation of the stand – yet another satisfied client.
